Greenwich, CT

Featured here are two separate gardens located a few miles apart in Greenwich CT.

The first garden features a massive meadow that we designed, installed, and maintain. Situated on a massive hillside along a long driveway; this garden has two main challenges: there is no irrigation despite being in full sun all day; and there are deer and rabbits all over. With those parameters in mind we were able to develop a meadow that is both resistant to these herbivores as well as being extremely drought tolerant so that even the driest of summers can be tolerated. This meadow changes and evolves significantly through the seasons as evident by the pictured below.

The second garden featured here has a very different challenge. The soil on this property is an extremely heavy clay soil and the ground is almost always saturated with water. We used a plant pallet that thrives in heavy, moisture retentive, soils and the plants all do very well.
